Arifa Institute of Technology proudly celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 on 8th March 2026 with great enthusiasm and respect for the remarkable contributions of women in society. The celebration aimed to promote gender equality, women’s empowerment, and leadership among students.

The programme commenced at 9:30 AM with the traditional invocation followed by the welcome address delivered by the Principal. Distinguished women leaders from academia and industry were invited as chief guests to inspire the students with their life experiences and achievements.

Special sessions were conducted on:

• Women in Engineering and Technology
• Leadership and Entrepreneurship
• Career Development
• Women Empowerment and Social Responsibility

Students actively participated in cultural performances, poetry recitations, motivational speeches, and competitions that highlighted the importance of women’s contributions to society.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of prizes and certificates to the competition winners. The celebration served as a platform to encourage students to uphold the values of equality, dignity, and respect.
