About Us
Arifa Institute of Technology (AIT) is a premier self-financing engineering institution approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Nestled in Esanoor, Nagapattinam District, Tamil Nadu, just 15 km from the renowned Velankanni Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health, AIT offers a serene and inspiring environment for learning.
Spread across 14 acres of green campus, the institution houses well-structured academic blocks, modern hostels, canteen facilities, sports arenas, and lush gardens that foster both academic and personal growth.
Originally established in 2013 as Haji Sheik Ismail Engineering College to serve the local community, it was re-envisioned and relaunched in 2018 as Arifa Institute of Technology. True to its motto, “Transforming Dreams into Realities,” the institution is proudly known as the Arifa Knowledge Village — a hub of innovation, excellence, and progress.
